What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer School Music Band/Orchestra position at Central Dauphin School District?
Class Days
Rehearsals are typically from 6:30-8 pm on Tuesday evenings in June and early July with a concert Thursday (June 17, 24, July 8, and 15 with a concert on July 17). Although, if interested instructors have conflicts, there could be some flexibility in the chosen dates. Teachers must also be available before and after rehearsal to assist with student arrival and for set-up and tear-down. If a teacher is interested in helping, but can not make all dates, they should still apply since this is a team effort.
Pay Rate
$40.00/hour
Certification
Candidates should hold a PA music certification OR have a strong background in music education or performance. .
