Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions.
- Provide treatments including root canal therapy, oral surgery, and endodontics.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental office management software.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in various dental procedures including but not limited to root canal therapy, oral surgery, and endodontics.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to dentistry.
- Familiarity with dental office management software such as Dentrix is advantageous.
