What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIESEL SERVICE TECH position at CENTRAL DIESEL SALES?
Position is Located in Mobridge, South Dakota.
We are currently seeking a Diesel Technician to be part of our extremely busy shop! As a Central Diesel technician, you will have a vital part in the shop: diagnosing issues, making necessary adjustments, completing repairs on removing & replacing all heavy-duty parts, and much MUCH more. Our shop works on almost anything from small HVAC jobs to full engine overhauls. BENEFITS, which we all love. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel truck & trailers
- Complete routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance.
- Provide technician reports on all assigned repairs.
- DOT Inspections.
- Remove and replace parts as needed.
- Inspect and test drive for testing and diagnosing adjustments.
- Various trailer repairs
- Brakes and adjustment.
- Engine overhauls (if qualified).
- Further duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Sensitive to deadlines and detail-oriented in your work.
- Strong in communicative skills with co-workers and management team.
- Previous experience in diesel repair.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Current Driver's License.
- ASE Certified (not required but a beneficial qualification).
