Job Description :

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our childcare center team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious and child-friendly meals that meet the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities :

Plan and prepare balanced meals and snacks following nutritional guidelines.
Ensure all meals meet dietary restrictions and allergy considerations.
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen according to health and safety regulations.
Order and manage food supplies efficiently.
Work with staff to coordinate mealtimes and portion sizes.

Qualifications :

Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a childcare or school setting.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and meal planning.

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

A passion for preparing nutritious meals for children.

Preferably to have experience with the USDA CACFP.
