Definition:
Responsible for developing, implementing, completing, and submitting all required compliance reports for local and state stakeholders regarding service.
Responsible for responding to, investigating, documenting, reporting on, and following up on all customer complaints and/or incident reports regarding service from staff, co-responders, hospital staff, patients, patient families and/or the general public.
Responsible for responding to, investigating, documenting, reporting on, and following up on all clinical service complaints and/or incident reports regarding clinical activities from staff, co-responders, hospital staff, patients, patient families and/or the general public.
Responsible for assisting Medical Director, local stakeholders and operations management staff in development, implementation and ongoing refinement of Clinical Protocols.
Responsible for assisting Medical Director, local stakeholders and operations management staff in development, implementation and ongoing refinement of MPDS EMD Protocols.
Responsible for assisting Medical Director, local stakeholders and operations management staff in development, implementation and ongoing refinement of System Staff plan to include Demand Analysis, Master Schedule and Posting Plan.

Specific Duties:
Demonstrates complete knowledge, understanding and compliance of company policies and procedures.
Responsible for conducting focused, randomized Patient Care Report audits in support of Medical Director to improve clinical protocol compliance and patient care.
Responsible for developing and monitoring dispatch, clinical, response time and other regulatory compliance metrics and reporting on same to supervisor with recommendations on ways to improve performance.
Responsible for assisting supervisor in ensuring operation is always in compliance with all company, local, regional, state and national policies, regulations or laws.
Functions as Paramedic Supervisor and/or field Paramedic on QRV and/or ambulance when required by supervisor.
Ensure security of buildings, vehicles, equipment, medications and all other company property.
Adheres to Universal Precautions/Body Substance Isolation when dealing with patient contacts. Is familiar with and practices the Infection Control policies and procedures of company.
Accepts responsibility for recertification as a Paramedic and for other required licenses and certifications as required by company, local, regional, and state policies, regulations or laws.
Ensures the security of all company computer systems by adhering to security procedures and utilizing appropriate passwords policies.
Maintains security and privacy of all confidential and proprietary company information at all times in accordance with company policy.
Maintains security and privacy of all company and patient information at all times in accordance HIPPA and all other local, state and federal regulations.
Acts at all times with his/her personal safety in mind, as well as the safety of others.
Reports to assigned shifts on time, properly groomed, attired and on time unless the proper notification has been made. Remains on-duty until properly relieved.
At all times sets an example of professionalism and leadership for others to follow.
Assures all company goals, objectives and procedures are followed on a daily basis.
Performs other duties as directed by management.
Minimum Requirements:
Paramedic certification.
MPDS EMD certification.
Associate or bachelors degree preferred.
Must have strong data analysis skills
Must have strong problem-solving skills.
Must be knowledgeable in medical terminology.
Must have solid verbal and written communications skills.
Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines as assigned.
Must have excellent administrative skills and be very detailed orientated.
Must have strong project management, time management, and leadership skills.
Must have ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must have ability to work independently on a broad variety of projects.
Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office software packages.
Must have a minimum of one year experience leading healthcare clinical activities.
Must have or gain within one year of hire training in Six Sigma Quality Management.
Must have or gain within one year of hire training in System Status Management.
Must have or gain within one year of hire training in use of MPDS ProQA Software.
