GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
To provide and coordinate preventative maintenance and repair for the vehicles owned and in use by the Washington County Regional Ambulance Authority-Central EMS to ensure safe, reliable transportation for response to emergency and non-emergency calls by the EMTs and Paramedics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data
processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 4 years related experience and/or
training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR FUNDS, PROPERTY and EQUIPMENT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order parts for maintenance of the vehicles.
- Repair medical equipment and stretchers.
- Fabricate and install components.
- Diagnose and repair the ambulance module.
- Cosmetic and body repair.
- Mechanical diagnosis and repair.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Assist with vehicle specifications.
- Maintain generator.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
