Central EMS is seeking a skilled Ambulance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our emergency medical services crew, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical assistance, and transporting patients safely to their destinations.
Main Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls
• Provide medical care and assistance to patients
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with paramedics and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and treatment
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an EMT training program accredited by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• CPR certification for healthcare providers
• Ability to lift and move patients safely
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience as an EMT or in a related field
• Basic life support skills, including defibrillation and oxygen therapy
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
