Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment with GPS. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on job sites, contributing to the overall success of our projects. The Equipment Operator will work closely with other team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety regulations.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, skid loaders.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Execute precise movements and operations of machinery in compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as necessary.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report any significant problems to the maintenance team.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is required.
- Familiarity with bulldozers, excavator operation.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- A valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on job sites.
- Ability to work and understand GPS equipment

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
