Scale Operator/Agronomy/Grain Production
Responsible for accurately sampling and determining all grades and weights on inbound and outbound trucks, maintain and calibrate grading equipment, maintain operation condition of truck scales and keep records of weekly scale cross checks. Will also assist in agronomy & grain operation by unloading truck grain; other duties as assigned. Extended hours required in season. Safety sensitive/full time position.
Work Environment:
May be exposed to dust and other conditions common to agricultural environments. This position is a full time, non-exempt, hourly position. Hours per week will be up to 40 hours per week during non-peak times of the year. Overtime may be required seasonally, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
This is a safety sensitive position. The work involved in this job will require the employee to wear PPE, to include, but not limited to: high visibility clothing, steel toed shoes or boots, and may require a hard hat. Employees working in a safety sensitive position are not permitted to be at work while under the influence of any drugs, alcohol or medication, (legal or illegal, prescribed or over the counter) that may impair their ability to function in a safe manner. A pre-hire, post-offer drug test is required. Positive result for cannabis will disqualify applicants for safety sensitive positions.
