Essential Job Functions

1. CFBHN liaison between ME, Hillsborough County School Board, and contracted service provider(s).
   1. Ensure effective communication/ collaboration between Hillsborough School Board and community partners e.g. treatment and social service agencies.
   2. Acts as program integrator between disparate elements. Assists funders (e.g. school board) to streamline related programs and elements funded by same including any additional funds or grants that may be identified.
   3. Provide ME support and development to Youth-At-Risk committee, if needed.
   4. Consult with school district mental health team to determine appropriateness of referrals.
2. Assure programmatic outcomes are being met; create and disseminate required programmatic reports to funders, providers and CFBHN management.
   1. Work collaboratively with internal CFBHN departments; IT, Contracts, QI to report required data and refine data as necessary, monthly.
   2. Understand deliverables and provide feedback on how programs can improve or maintain performance
   3. Able to develop, run, and analyze reports/trends regarding programs, special projects, and other areas as assigned
3. Assure compliance with contractual requirements, managing entity accreditation requirements, annual audit requirements and laws, regulations and rules that govern the provision of behavioral health services.
   1. Understand the various funding sources available to children, adults, and families and the appropriate systems and methods of care coordination.
4. Collaborate with community managers as well as community alliances, councils, and other workgroups to identify community priorities for this target population.
5. Provide programmatic technical assistance and training, both internal and external
   1. Develop a detailed description of services and processes for your program area and update as necessary

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience

• Master’s degree in a related field and LMHC or LCSW required.
• Minimum of five years of behavioral health program management experience.
• Experience in school based social services a plus
• In-depth understanding of Florida public mental health/substance abuse system, including treatment protocols and system of care principles and values, to assure contractual compliance
• In-depth knowledge of funder contractual requirements
• Solid working relationship with funders, providers and community stakeholders.
• Above-average oral communication and business writing skills
• Ability to represent CFBHN well at funder, provider and community venues
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize meeting deadlines
• Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office suite as applicable to the position
• Ability to travel as required by the position
