Lakeview Terrace, a Life Care Community, is enhancing and advancing the art of Life Care. Our campus occupies 100 serene acres on the edge of the Ocala National Forest. We offer full service amenities to our residents, including two lakes with fishing docks, walking paths, a natural area for picnicking, and a new Rehab Center and Exercise Pool Complex.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dining Room Server to join our team. As a server, you will provide exceptional service to our residents by preparing and serving meals in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dining rooms by setting tables and stations according to standards.
- Greet residents and guests, assist with food and beverage selection, and answer questions about menu items.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, bus and pre-bus throughout service.
- Take resident and guest orders accurately and completely, put orders into the Point of Sale system, and deliver to the kitchen.
- Clean and care for equipment and work stations in work areas, scrape and wash dishes, and perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, and walk or stand for up to eight hours.
- Must be trained in the Heimlich maneuver or willing to be trained.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred.
Working Conditions
