POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Assistant will perform and coordinate the administration of policies, programs and procedures for all maintenance functions. Specific areas of responsibility will include:
- Receives phone calls, emergency request from HCA’s
- Multiple calls and requests daily
- Perform Monthly invoice reconciliation and spreadsheet
- Monthly Credit Card and Gas Receipts
- Alarms code request- Maintain logs
- For current staff, new hires, and terminations
- Supply orders from supplier and receiving once a week to warehouse
- Material ordering, supplies, signage, etc.
- EOC inspection tracking
- Follow-up, filling, communication with supervisors, and work orders
- Key Control log request and tracking
- For current staff, new hires, and terminations
- Assisting with Facilities Supervisor as needed
The Facilities Assistant will ensure that all safety requirements are met and will design and implement the training program to update and improve personnel skills to change with today's technology.
Facilities Assistants optimize the timing of projects to ensure an uninterrupted operation of the Health center.
They will also monitor the electronic Work order entry system, prioritize and perform work orders based on urgency.
This position requires strong teamwork and communication skills. The facilities assistant will support the facilities manager in meeting the organizations goals.
They will work Closely with the Health Center administrator to ensure facilities is well maintained and the organization is compliant.
- High school diploma with a minimum of three years’ experience
- Unrestricted Florida driver’s license.

- Ability to lift weight equivalent to 40lbs., that would be required with repositioning equipment and lifting supplies.
- Ability to adapt and function in varying environments of workload, worksites, and work shifts.
