Nocturnist APRN/PA-NCH Naples

As an ARNP/PA Nocturnist, you will have a block schedule 6pm -8am, 7 days on 7 days off.  Job duties will include, but are not limited to, providing accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education and follow-up care to patients ranging in age from 18 years old to geriatric; proper maintenance of records, under the direction of the Supervisory Physician and any other reasonable and proper duties assigned. Must have one-year prior hospital experience.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

1. Examine patients and record history
2. Adhere to proper charting protocols
3. Discuss with Physician and other health care professionals to prepare comprehensive plan
4. Order or execute tests or images as needed
5. Submit health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review by Physician
6. Analyze results of tests, diagnose and report to patient
7. Administer or prescribe treatment and medications
8. Promote health by advising patient on diet, hygiene and prevention of disease
9. Inoculate and vaccinate as required
10. Refer to specialist as required for patient's well-being
11. Report deaths and contagious diseases to governmental authorities
12. Other responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Must have and maintain current State of Florida license in good standing
2. Current National Board Certification

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Prior experience using an electronic medical records system
2. Bilingual a plus, but not required (English/Spanish)
