What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nocturnist ARNP/PA - Advent Health Orlando position at Central Florida Inpatient Medicine?
JOB SUMMARY:
Admissions, routine floor calls, Medicine consults and routine calls for Psych unit
7pm-7am
7 nights on/7 nights off (rotates Thursday-Wednesday)
Must have hospitalist experience as you are working independently
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Examine patients and record history
- Adhere to proper charting protocols
- Discuss with Physician and other health care professionals to prepare comprehensive plan
- Order or execute tests or images as needed
- Submit health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review by Physician
- Analyze results of tests, diagnose and report to patient
- Administer or prescribe treatment and medications
- Promote health by advising patient on diet, hygiene and prevention of disease
- Inoculate and vaccinate as required
- Refer to specialist as required for patient's well-being
- Report deaths and contagious diseases to governmental authorities
EDUCATIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Must have and maintain current State of Florida license in good standing
- Florida DEA License
- Current National Board Certification
- BLS Certification
