What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatrist (Part time/1099) position at Central Florida Inpatient Medicine?
Psych Health Associates is seeking to add a part-time Psychiatrist to our team. Our growing psychiatry company serves adult geriatric patients throughout the state of Florida. We offer both inpatient and outpatient services and offer telehealth options to give our providers a great work/life balance. This role will have a flexible schedule and 90% of the job will be remote-based. Candidates must be located in Florida.
The incoming psychiatrist will work part-time, primarily via telemedicine, with occasional local inpatient coverage.
Role and Responsibilities
Some examples of tasks include:
- supervising mid-level providers (PMHNPs)
- phone call coverage one night per week and one weekend per month
- assist the company with collaborating physician support & consultative services
- provide call support to the team as needed
- collaborate with PMHNPs on a part-time basis
**Requirements:**
- Valid Florida medical license (MD or DO)
- Board certification in Psychiatry
