What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Medical Office Manager position at Central Florida Pediatrics?
Busy pediatric practice with offices in Lake Mary and Orange City is seeking a full-time assistant/floater. This is a full-time, in-office, position working primarily out of our Lake Mary office. Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or healthcare preferred but not required. Candidate must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create complex spreadsheets. Experience using QuickBooks and/or NextGen EHR/PM preferred. Responsibilities include facilities and administrative support, insurance verification, billing assistance, HIPAA compliance, general tasks supporting the Practice Manager, and filling in at the front desk as needed. Front desk duties include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, collecting payments and verifying insurance. This is a “jack of all trades” position with a huge opportunity to learn several positions within the practice.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
