Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented dispatcher to join our dispatch team. The dispatcher will oversee the dispatch of tow trucks for junk car removal services from diverse locations. This role demands strong communication skills, exceptional organizational capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch Operations: Coordinate and prioritize tow truck dispatches for yard car pickups, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Customer Interaction: Professionally manage customer inquiries and requests, gathering essential details such as location and vehicle information.
- Driver Coordination: Maintain regular communication with tow truck drivers, providing job specifics and navigation guidance.
- Route Optimization: Strategically plan and optimize routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Record Management: Accurately document service requests, job progress, and customer details in the dispatch system for reporting and future reference.
- Vehicle Tracking: Utilize GPS and tracking software to monitor tow truck locations in real-time and address any operational delays promptly.
- Documentation: Ensure completion and filing of all necessary paperwork, including release forms and receipts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required, bilingual is a plus!
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Availability to work weekends and holidays as part of rotational shifts.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift with varying hours between 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (or later as needed).
- Weekend availability required (Saturdays) with Sundays off.
