A Veterinary Technician works under the supervision of a veterinarian to assist in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular conditions in animals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Record and document patient history, symptoms, and relevant information
- Provide animal restraint during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Clean and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and instruments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Veterinary Technician
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and procedures
- Experience with animal restraint techniques
- Ability to perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
