What are the responsibilities and job description for the Voice Teacher position at Central Florida Vocal Arts & Opera del Sol?
Central Florida Vocal Arts is seeking passionate, dynamic, and highly qualified voice teachers and group class instructors to join our growing team for Spring 2025 and beyond! We are seeking individuals who are committed to excellence in vocal education and eager to contribute to our diverse and dynamic teaching environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to teach students in-person and in various group class settings throughout Orlando. Virtual options will be offered to Orlando-based teachers only.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one voice lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels on a consistent, weekly basis.
- Lead group classes, workshops, and clinics designed to enhance vocal technique and performance skills.
- Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be local to Orlando and available to teach in-person voice lessons and/or group classes during the following days/times:
- Monday, 4:00-8:00 PM
- Tuesday, 4:00-8:00 PM
- Wednesday, 4:00-8:00 PM
- Thursday, 4:00-8:00 PM
- Friday, 4:00-8:00 PM
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Voice or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience, especially working with middle and high school aged students, is highly preferred but not required.
- Dynamic, engaging personality used to inspire and motivate students.
- Vocal pedagogy knowledge used to structure lessons with an emphasis on technical fundamentals and vocal health maintenance.
- Flexibility to teach in multiple settings (in-person, group classes, workshops, camps)
Benefits:
- Starting pay for individual lessons: $40 per hour.
- Group class pay: $60 per hour.
