We are seeking an Accounting Manager / Sr. Manager- Special Projects for our Walnut Creek office. This position will be primarily responsible for a few distinct projects and aiding the corporate accounting department during quarter close. This role will report to the Corporate Controller and have one direct report.
This position is at our corporate office in Walnut Creek, California. Our office is located just a block from the Pleasant Hill Bart Station and is near great restaurants and the Iron Horse Trail, with a short drive to downtown Walnut Creek. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary LeaseQuery Data Administrator (lease accounting software).
- SAP GRC Administrator (segregation of duties for SAP ERP).
- Works with the Corporate Controller, corporate accounting team and Business Unit personnel on a variety of Finance / Accounting related projects.
- Corporate Accounting contact person for issues that pertain to financial accounting relating to SAP implementations and SAP use.
- Evaluate and document analysis and conclusions associated with accounting issues and transactions.
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships throughout the organization.
- Assist team in producing accurate and timely financial statements, may include SCC reporting support (depending on experience).
- Perform record keeping and bookkeeping functions for a small Joint Venture
