Description
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Pet Sales division to manage the Target account. We are looking for high energy and self-motivated candidates who are ready to take their next career step in outside sales / large account management. This role is a home-office based field sales position, with the candidate preferably located in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. We are willing to consider candidates outside of the Minneapolis and St. Paul area so long as they possess the desired skill set and live near a major metropolitan airport (and are willing to travel a bit more).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and grow distribution through strategic sales efforts including insights development and category management
- Implement the sales planning process across the Central portfolio of brands for Target
- Execute account specific programs designed to achieve profitable sales volume, optimal distribution, competitive retail pricing for both brick & mortar and e-commerce
- Implement strategic marketing plans that maximize profitable sales growth
- Participate and provide input in the areas of new product development, business planning, customer marketing, customer service and KPI tracking
- Work collaboratively with Central's Business Unit demand planners to provide accurate and timely sales forecasts across the Central portfolio
- Lead events including billing efficiencies, trade spending, promotional tracking and ROI analysis to support profitability growth
- Developing and executing Omnichannel strategies in conjunction with Central's E-commerce team
