Description

We are searching for a Truck Driver to work in our Pet Segment, providing logistics, production, and maintenance support at our Sun Pet site based out of Harrisburg, PA. This position primarily involves loading freight on trucks for deliveries. Primary job duties are driving, delivering, and unloading freight to various locations and businesses. Other duties involving errands, picking up supplies, supporting maintenance and production crews are also typical. Visit www.central.com to learn more.   Shift Details :   Monday Thru Thursday  2 nights with driving overnight from Harrisburg to Richmond, VA  1 night of driving overnight from Richfield, VA  to Columbus, Ohio  2 overnight / hotel stays per week.  This is a vendor pick up route that requires the driver to pick up from two vendors and shuttle product down to Richmond VA or Columbus, Ohio. Driver will be required to load truck from both vendor locations and oversee the product until it is offloaded in Richmond or Columbus. Job requires driving overnight along with the ability to load truck late at night.      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading unloading trucks in warehouse.
• Various general labor duties within the warehouse.
• Loading individual customer orders on trucks in an organized and efficient manner.
• Effectively interpret and understand the paperwork provided to assist in organizing the shipments.
• Unload or deliver the orders intact, confirming box counts, etc. to air cargo or customer location.
• Maintain a pleasant working relationship with our contacts.
• Maintain trucks in a clean, operational manner.
