Central Garden & Pet is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Part Time Merchandiser. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are accurately displayed and easily accessible to customers in retail stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock and arrange product displays in home improvement centers, including grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery.
- Maintain set integrity and ensure products are properly tagged and priced.
- Install and maintain off-shelf display opportunities for Central Garden products.
- Provide excellent customer service and interact with store management as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous merchandising experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to bend, pull, and lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
- Must be able to climb ladders and use pallet jacks and powered hand tools.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
