POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for tasks in relation to picking, packing and shipping direct-to-consumer orders and support small parcel shipments. utilizing RF scanner and various computer shipping software.
SHIFT DETAILS
Day Shift : Monday thru Friday, 7 : 00am – 3 : 30pm
Evening Shift : Monday thru Friday, 1 : 00pm – 9 : 30pm
STARTING WAGES
All Shifts : Base Rate $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience
Evening Shift : additional $1.00 per hour shift premium
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect merchandise to ensure only quality product is used to complete the order.
- Meet production, quality, and accuracy levels as established by business unit. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
- Select food and / or accessory products to fill customer orders completely and accurately.
- Load and unload packages off the packing line and stack them on pallets. Utilize computer system and high-volume conveyor line to pack and prepare daily shipments using UPS, Fedex or other shipping software applications, including necessary paperwork, shipping labels and tracking information.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work extended hours, as required by operational needs.
- Flexibility to work in other areas and departments, as needed. Must be able to cross train in other departmental areas.
- Maintain a clean workplace to avoid tripping hazards or other accidents. Follow all food safety policies and procedures including performing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning assignments and related activities as directed.
- Promote a safe work environment by following facility and company safety guidelines. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
