A domestic dealership, is looking to hire a talented automotive Parts Advisor, ideally with domestic brand experience, take the dealership to the next level.
Our dealership has enjoyed recent growth and we are looking for (Team Players) professional Parts Advisors who are interested in developing their career through a strong work ethic, personal development, and continuous personal growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order, receive, and bill all parts
- Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customers payment, including deductibles.
- Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones
- Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping
- Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected, the return of vehicle; obtaining customers' approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging to tow and temporary transportation.
- Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
