Job Summary:
Central Buick GMC of Norwood is seeking skilled Automotive Transmission Technicians to join our team. This is a full-time, position in the auto industry located in Norwood, Massachusetts. The role is an individual contributor who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive transmissions for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles' transmissions to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and software to assist in diagnostics and repairs
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out transmission components
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and technical instructions for repairs and maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools
- Keep accurate records of work performed and time spent on each vehicle
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication to ensure customer satisfaction
- Strive to complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in automotive transmissions
Requirements:
- Experience with CDK and Xtime preferred
- Previous experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive transmission systems and components
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality work
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
