What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner Wound Care position at Central Health Management?
Central Health Management, Inc. is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner with an autonomous practice license (or obtain) and experience in wound care for a full time opportunity in the greater Ft. Myers, FL area. This role will travel in a defined area to see patients in their home or a facility.
This role is compensated between $110,000 and $130,000 annually plus a monthly travel stipend and is expected to see 7 to 10 patients per day Monday through Friday in Home, Assisted, Skilled-Living settings.
In this role, you will evaluate patient's progress, address wound including changing dressings, wound cultures, debridement and examining for changes in condition or any sign of infection. Maintain charting in a timely manner. You will also provide education to patients and their caregivers on the appropriate care for healing their wound and when appropriate to follow up with their PCP.
To qualify for this opportunity, you will have:
- An active and clear NP license to practice in Florida
- An Autonomous license to practice in Florida or obtain.
- An active and clear DEA license to prescribe in Florida
- MSN or DNP degree from an accredited Nursing school
- Wound care experience.
- Reliable transportation
- Exceptional patient communication, interaction and care.
