Central Health Management, Inc. is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for a full time 1099 contractor opportunity providing direct primary patient care in an inpatient setting in the Morgantown West Virginia area Monday through Friday. Will see between 15 and 20 patients on average.
- Responsibilities
- Round on patients, assessing and evaluating condition and responsiveness to treatment plan. Adjusting plan as medically necessary.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses.
- Work collaboratively with our physicians and other medical staff to ensure patient safety and the highest level of care.
- Perform various medical procedures and testing.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- MSN degree from accredited Nursing program.
- Active and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in West Virginia.
- BLS Certification, ACLS Preferred.
- DEA license or obtain
- Collaborative demeanor, patient advocate.
- Familiar with Cerner EMR.
