Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine in Connecticut seeks a Board Certified or Residency Trained veterinary cardiologist to join our existing cardiology team. As the only privately owned Emergency / Specialty hospital of this scale in Connecticut, with locations in North Haven and Guilford, we offer a unique and dynamic work environment designed for your growth and success.
Cardiology at Central :
Our cardiology service is equipped with GE Vivid E95 and GE Vivid IQ echo units; transesophageal capability with a pediatric probe; two GE Mac HQ 5500 HD electrocardiogram units; a fluoroscopy suite with a Philips Veradius fluoroscopy unit and a well-stocked inventory of interventional equipment; Alba Holter monitoring system with 13 monitors; and both Medtronic and Innfiniti pacemaker interrogation units. Both of our intensive care facilities include Fukuda Dynascope telemetry with simultaneous monitoring of up to 4 patients in each location, biphasic defibrillators and Snyder oxygen cages.

- Has a valid DVM license from an accredited university
- Has a genuine passion for cardiology medicine
- Has an excitement for working at a team-based practice
- Has board certification or completed a cardiology residency
- Engages and works closely with referring veterinarians
