We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. Duties
- Manage the general ledger accounting, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions.
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and reports.
- Utilize financial software, such as Sage, to streamline bookkeeping tasks.
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary information.
- Support public accounting efforts by preparing relevant documentation as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably in a full charge capacity.
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting practices and procedures.
- Strong skills in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and techniques.
- Experience with journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Background in public accounting is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable management and budgeting principles.
- Proficiency in using Sage or similar financial software is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
