Central Jersey Equipment is looking for a highly skilled Service Manager with proven management experience to lead our equipment repair shop. This role requires a team-oriented leader who can effectively manage customer interactions, oversee service technicians, handle reports, and support administrative staff. The Service Manager will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, fostering strong relationships with customers, and ensuring the success of both the service team and admin staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead all maintenance operations to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize problem-solving and communication skills to maintain department accountability.
  • Lead a team of technicians and administrative staff, ensuring smooth workflow and high-performance standards.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining positive relationships and addressing service needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Service Department Management experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles related to service operations.
  • Preferred experience with turf/ag equipment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage customer interactions effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, internet applications, and general computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
