RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provides services to toddlers including physical caregiving, developmental assessments, and implementing age-appropriate curricula
- Serves as the primary teacher for children and ensures safe and healthy learning environments and individualized learning activities for children
- Individual may also be designated as a Center Assistant, assigned to classrooms as needed to provide continuity of care for required coverage during staff breaks, staff planning, and full-day operations
- Other duties as assigned
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Works well with individuals of all cultures and socio-economic backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills, ability to monitor and prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to regularly lift and carry toddlers who may range in weight up to 45 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, and rise from the floor
- Ability to reach with hands/arms and use hands to manipulate, handle, and feel objects
- Background check/drug screen
- Reliable transportation required
- 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday
- Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent college coursework
