Position Summary:
Central Kentucky Truck, Trailer, Boat & RV Sales is looking for a motivated and professional Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team. Specializing in RVs and medium-duty trucks, this commission-based position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and has a passion for helping customers find the right commercial or recreational vehicle for their needs. You’ll work a consistent 6-day schedule (40 hours Monday–Friday and 6 hours on Saturday), handling walk-in customers, managing internet leads, and keeping our online vehicle listings up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in selecting the right RV or medium-duty truck.
- Provide expert knowledge on work trucks, flatbeds, box trucks, and commercial-use vehicles.
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, including financing and delivery.
- Respond to internet leads and online inquiries via phone, text, and email.
- Create and update online listings for trucks and RVs on dealership and third-party platforms (e.g., Commercial Truck Trader, RV Trader, Facebook Marketplace).
- Take high-quality photos and write engaging descriptions to enhance digital listings.
- Use CRM software to manage leads, follow-ups, and communication records.
- Stay informed about current inventory, manufacturer promotions, and pricing updates.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals through consistent customer service and follow-through.
- Help maintain a clean, organized lot and assist with merchandising displays as needed.
Qualifications:
- Sales experience in trucks, RVs, or commercial vehicles preferred.
- Familiarity with medium-duty trucks and their commercial applications is a strong plus.
- Confident, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills.
- Comfortable using online platforms and dealership CRM tools.
- Basic marketing and photography skills for online listing creation.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be available to work a 6-day schedule: Monday–Friday (full days) and Saturday (6 hours).
Compensation:
- 100% Commission-Based (or base commission depending on experience)
