Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Motorcycles, Side by Sides, ATV,s and mowers to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of our products during transit.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicle and trailer, including the ability to back a trailer, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. The ability to ride a motorcycle and handle it properly.
- Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while managing schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logs.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including cleaning and organization.
- Handle manual transmission vehicles when required (motorcycles, atv's), demonstrating proficiency in driving techniques.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Valid CDL
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in moving, courier services, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
