What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carrier Bundler/Kitting position at Central Lake Armor Express Inc?
Description: With direction from the supervisor, the bundler is responsible for grouping pieces together via name/number/size in a bundle.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality meets specifications for each piece.
- Bundle all components by name or number or size.
- Put assembled parts and a copy of the sizing guide into a clear plastic bag.
- Ensure a copy of the order, sizing guide, build sheet, completed cutters must sheet is attached to the cart.
- Any other instructions given by the supervisor or production manager.
Qualifications:
- Quality/ Inspection experience is required.
- Ability to multi-task and keep clear documentation records.
- Proactive work habits
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work in both an independent and team environment.
- Able to perform basic mathematic calculations.
- Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of problems.
Physical demands;
- Standing on hard surface for extended periods.
- Move between different production areas.
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.
- Good manual dexterity to meet job responsibilities.
- Occasional lifting up to 65 pounds.
Work Environment:
This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing/warehouse setting. These activities will occur in the production areas. Although the position is indoors there will be varying temperatures between different areas.
