Description:
Inspects to the requirements, design, and conformance of the specs. A standard is set, and inspector compare results to the standard and take corrective action when results do not meet the standard. This role consists of the following duties:
- Be aware of the standards for each contract.
- Inspect each item using a set standard (using trimmers, rulers, and templates).
- Write up any non-conforming items on final inspection documentation.
- Return non-conforming items back for repairs.
- Record daily individual production numbers.
- Attain daily quotas, raise efficiency numbers.
- Other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Must be able to accurately read and use a ruler to 1/8th inch.
- Ability to adapt and work in a changing work environment.
- Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Proactive work habits.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work in both an independent and team environment.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to communicate orally with others.
- Standing on hard surface for extended periods of time, moving between production areas.
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.
- Able to perform basic mathematic calculations.
- Good manual dexterity to meet job responsibilities.
- Good reasoning ability is required to solve a wide range of problems.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Pushing / pulling production carts.
Work Environment:
This job is indoors in a traditional manufacturing setting. Activities are primarily done while standing. These activities will occur in the production areas. Although the position is indoors there will be varying temperatures between different areas.
