Role Description:
Junior Accountants provide crucial support to senior accounting staff, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. Their responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate accounts receivable, documenting bills, and providing supporting documentation for multiple entities.
- Managing accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, confirming debt validity, and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Performing accurate data entry and maintaining organized financial records within QuickBooks.
- Assist in financial reporting, budget tracking, and month-end close processes.
- Assist with wire and ACH transfers
- Preparing quarterly budget reports under the supervision of senior management.
- Analyzing financial statements and preparing balance sheets.
- Performing bank reconciliations and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation.
- Communicating with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments.
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures, and GAAP.
- Must be a detail oriented individual.
- Other tasks as assigned
- Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum one year experience in an accounting role.
- Valid driver’s license and means of transportation required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Basic grasp of accounting
- Experience with payables, collections, and bank reconciliation
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
· Pay rate is Based on experience
· The schedule is Mon-Fri; 8 am to 5 pm, in office.
· Paid time off - 10 Vacation and 3 Sick days per year.
