JOB SUMMARY
This position will assist and perform specified Supply Chain duties in the absence/presence of the facility Supply Chain Director.
Reports To: Director of Supply Chain Operations
Classification: Non-Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one years’ experience in OR/Surgical resource management or Central Supply strongly preferred. Experience with Healthcare Materials Management Information System desired. Knowledgeable in backorder resolution and routinely exercise critical thinking skills. Demonstrate proficiency in basic Microsoft Office.
OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE
Category III exposure to blood borne pathogens, frequent exposure to chemical hazards and may encounter radiation hazards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Requisition/Place routine and non-routine orders through the facility Information System, as required to ensure accurate record keeping.
2. Receives deliveries to the facility and verifies that the delivery tickets match the goods delivered.
3. Receive routine and non-routine purchase orders through the facility Information System, as required to ensure accurate record keeping.
4. Assist the sales representatives with shipping out equipment and surgical supplies.
5. Tracks lost shipments and/or claims of lost shipments initiates proof of delivery documents.
6. Operate dolly and pallet jack for loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
7. Coordinate acquiring substitute supplies as needed.
8. Assist departments with setting and establishing par levels.
9. Assist and perform quarterly physical counts.
10. Assist in maintaining inventory levels.
11. Deliver/distribute/replenish supplies/equipment to departments, as needed.
12. Coordinate return shipments and maintain return log.
13. Keep shelves and storage bins clean, organized and stocked.
14. Monitor stock outages and back-orders.
15. Maintain, understand proper body mechanics and use safety equipment while lifting and moving supplies and/or equipment.
16. Comply with facility Standards of Behavior and complete all required education assignments within the designated timeline.
17. All other duties and projects assigned by the Director of Supply Chain Operations.
