Job Summary
Central Maine Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a CVICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take prompt action to prevent or manage them
* Administer medications, perform treatments, and participate in cardiac catheterizations and other invasive procedures
* Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
* Current RN licensure in the state of Maine
* BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications may be required based on unit needs
* Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU/CVICU setting; recent experience preferred
* Ability to float to other units as needed
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
