Compensation:
From $33.75 per hour, increasing with experience.
This is a per diem, flexible schedule position, with Paid Time Off (PTO).
The Opportunity:
Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Radiological Technologist to join our highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Team at Rumford Hospital.
The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.
Radiology technologists are trained to perform and become certified in both X-Ray and CT.
Functions as one of the first-line interfaces with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
Education and Experience:
Required - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required and/or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a current ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Computed Tomography.
Current or within 1 month of hire American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS certification.
Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Possesses a high level of knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy when performing CT.
Proficiency with X-Ray and when performing CT will have knowledge or will be trained on CT equipment, hardware, and software (GE, Siemens, Philips, and Toshiba preferred).
