Joint Commission Accreditation Teaching Hospital. Job Requirements 2 years of experience in L&D, LDRP and PP care. Must be able to manage a 3 couplet assignment. Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring). Start & Maintain Peripheral IV. Administer Antihypertensives and Insulin drips. Assist with vaginal delivery, Recover C-Section, APGAR scores, Baby Nurse (Baby Catcher), Collect cord samples, ID / Security Banding, Radiant Warmers / Thermoregulation, Newborn Assessment, Epidural Anesthesia / Pain assessment & management, Postpartum care and Procedures as well as M / B postpartum care. Schedule Information Shift : 6 : 45PM – 7 : 15AM (4x12’s) – Rotating Shifts- Self Scheduling. Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 48. Call Requirements : Yes.
