Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)- Load and unload catering orders- Delivery, set up, serve and clean up Central market products while extending superior Customer Service- Assist Catering department in catering sales/production when necessary.- Adheres to traffic and Safety Laws as well as H-E-B policy. Including training and safety certification.- Ensure vehicle is maintained, interior is clean and all compartments are food safe.- Knowledge of office delivery dock entranced & elevatorsREQUIREMENTS- Good Driving record and a valid Class C Texas Drivers License- No Moving violations in previous 3 years- 21 years of age or older- No Felony convictions ever- No DWI convictions- No misdemeanor drug and alcohol convictions- No preventable accidents for the previous 3 years- Successfully complete Catering Driver Entry Level Training- Driver recertification every 3 years- Participate in Annual MVR Check and Review- Pass background screening, including an MVR- Ability to handle multiple tasks- Able to work with minimal supervision- Excellent customer service skills- Willingness to work in varying outdoors/indoor conditions- Detail orientedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Lift and carry moderately heavy loads/ Ability to lift 50 lbs- Pushing and pulling up to 250 lbs- Bend, reach, squat- Ability to think on your feet to satisfy the customer- Basic food knowledge & banquet services11-2015
