Job Title: Front Desk Associate (Part-Time)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate at our indoor training facility. In this part-time role, you will be the first point of contact for players and visitors, assisting with check-ins, booking batting cage time, managing schedules, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience for all guests. You will also help keep the facility running efficiently and support the management team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check-in/Check-out: Greet players and guests, check them in for their scheduled cage time, and handle payments or reservations.
- Booking & Reservations: Assist customers with booking cage time, answering any questions about availability, pricing, or services. Update and maintain the reservation system to ensure accurate bookings.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries. Resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Scheduling: Manage the part-time employee schedule, ensuring coverage during peak hours, and communicating with team members about shifts and availability.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the front desk area tidy and organized. Ensure that any necessary supplies are stocked and ready for guests.
- Promotions & Sales: Inform customers about promotions, packages, and special events to help increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Communication: Communicate any important facility updates or changes to guests, including safety procedures or special events.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (experience with booking or scheduling software a plus).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Interest in baseball or sports is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of light to moderate items (e.g., paperwork, supplies).
