Description
Under the direction of, and reporting to the VP and GM of CO2, the BevCarb Sales Specialist is responsible for
all sales activities, from lead generation through close. This position will work to expand the customer base in
identified areas. This position also works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer
satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Develop a business plan, that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
o Prepare strategy for effective search of sales leads and prospects to focus the Account Manager
on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
o Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
o Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale.
o Generate new and repeat sales.
o Make recommendations to prospects and clients of various solutions the company offers to
their business needs.
o Generate new and repeat CO2 and beverage carbonation sales by making recommendations to
prospects and clients of various solutions the company offers to their business needs.
o Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
o Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend appropriate
solutions.
o Proactively recommend products and services needed by customers to increase satisfaction and
improve transaction profitability.
o Provide exceptional customer service to all prospects and clients whether on the phone, in
person or through electronic communications.
• Source, develop, and maintain client relationships and referrals.
o Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold
calling on business owners, direct mail, e-mail or networking.
o Provide exceptional service to all clients, prospects, and staff.
o Respond promptly to customer outages.
o Troubleshoot via phone any customer outages or CO2 needs.
o Serve as back up or assistant CO2 beverage system installer, as needed.
o Get and stay current on driving requirements to allow for the operation of the Beverage
distribution vehicles to assist and back up other roles as needed.
o Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
o Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety.
o Identify and correct all unsafe conditions and practices and communicate actions to
appropriate individuals.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
o All other duties requested by management.

o Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software, and standard business equipment (phone,
computer, copier/scanner etc.).
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
o High School degree or equivalent required.
o Associates Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field desired, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
o 3 – 5 years of sales experience, preferred.
o Industry experience, preferred.
o Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
o Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
o Apply manual dexterity, visual acuity, and ability.
o Must be able to operate standard office equipment.
o Sit for extended periods of time and perform work sitting at a computer.
o Physical ability to travel to client and prospect locations repeatedly throughout the day including overnight
travel as appropriate.
o Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
o Adhere to all proper safety standards and regulations including wearing proper protective equipment and
gear as it relates to the job.
o To meet deadlines and support business operations works a flexible schedule, including nights and
weekends as needed.
o Must possess valid MN driver’s license and endorsements as needed for primary and back up roles, and be
able to do some local travel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is primarily indoors, the locations of customers, and travel between. There will be
exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
