Position Summary
- Recruit and train undergraduate and graduate students who are preparing for professional careers in singing in all genres of the music industry – musical theatre, pop, opera, and future music educators.
- Be proficient in healthy vocal pedagogy techniques for belting and jazz techniques, in addition to standard classical vocal techniques.
- Additional classroom assignments made based on the strengths of the candidate and the needs of the School of Music.

About the Department
The School of Music is located in a state-of-the-art 119,000 square foot facility with a 500-seat concert hall housing a 61-rank Casavant organ, a 100-seat recital hall, MIDI technology labs, recording facilities, music resource center, and 79 practice rooms. The School of Music has 38 full- and part-time faculty and an enrollment of 350 undergraduate and graduate majors and minors.
