Interventionist Mathematics Teacher
Central Middle International School
Grades: 6-8
Responsibilities: Prepare students for changing world in which they live; provide diverse learning opportunities using real-world projects and experiences with a global focus; receive ongoing training for International Baccalaureate (IB) Certification (summer and school year training required); revise curriculum to meet IB requirements; participate in district and building level professional development; collaborate with other IB teachers.
Work with math department to plan small group math interventions with students in need of academic support. Be push in and pull-out support for students in a math classroom setting.
Certification and Qualifications: Valid Indiana teaching license with middle school level certification (6-8) required; demonstration of leadership; strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration; history of using differentiated instruction; cultural and international awareness; demonstrated ability to integrate technology in instruction.
