HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The LPN in psychiatry is responsible for providing standard patient care under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse (RN) within a family driven, trauma informed framework.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by consulting physician.
- Complete in office procedures including IM and SQ injections.
- Comply with all reporting mandates including duty to warn, child protection and vulnerable adult situations, and ombudsman incidents.
- Prepare clients to be seen by Psychiatrist or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Completed assigned documentation in compliance with identified agency standards.
- Responsible for care coordination within CMMHC’s programs or with another entity identified in the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) statutory.
- Occasional travel to other CMMHC clinic locations as needed for clinic coverage.
