HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Crisis Mobile Mental Health Practitioners provide Crisis Assessment and Intervention to someone in a mental health crisis. Successful candidates in this position have the ability to provide our clients with empathetic listening over the phone and in person, meeting clients of all ages in the community, validation as well as triage for other needed referrals and services and feel confident working in independently with the ability to consult with a clinical supervisor.
- Provide mobile outreach and residential services under the direction of the Mental Health Professional.
- Under the direction of the Mental Health Professional, complete assessments and develop treatment plans with recipients based on needs identified by the recipient and the assessment.
- Provide immediate face to face evaluation to determine the presenting situation; identify immediate stressors and assess any immediate need for emergency services.
- Provide immediate intervention that relieves the recipient’s level of distress; assist the recipient to cope with immediate stressors; identify and use available resources, recognize recipient’s strengths; avoid unnecessary hospitalization.
