What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Success Coach-BRIDGE position at Central Missouri Community Action?
Family Success Coach needed In Columbia to partner with public school teachers to help children and their families. Provide support and resources to families to help elementary school children become successful and overcome barriers. Meet with the families and teachers to assess needs, set goals, and develop strategies to help stabilize and support them. Pay is $19 per hour or more, based on qualifications.
Desired candidate should possess strong communication, computer skills, reliable attendance, and have a desire to help those in need. Our ideal candidate is an upbeat, compassionate individual who is willing to work in a fast-paced, structured environment with high standards. Willingness to work evenings and travel for home visits.
Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree is required. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human and Family Studies, or related field preferred.
- 2 years' work experience in a social service related field.
- Must have general knowledge of family involvement practices and working knowledge of family development and social services.
- Provides the opportunity to become certified with a Family Development Credential (FDC) during the first 2 years of employment.
