Grounds Assistant (Summer)

How You’ll Make an Impact Maintaining grounds and grounds equipment including:Mowing and Trimming Trimming Shrubs Watering Grounds clean-up, including but not limited to picking up sticks and trash Blowing off parking lots and sidewalks Pulling weeds Edging walks and mulching beds Installing new landscapes Power Washing Assist in cleanup and maintenance of equipment, shop space, and campus Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe conditionAssisting with other special projects throughout Central Insurance and Willow Bend Country Club campuses What You’ll Bring Able to lift 50 lbs. Stamina to be on feet 100% of the time Valid driver’s license Possesses verbal and written communication skills Possesses multi-tasking and prioritization skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to understand Central Insurance’s policies and processes Availability to work early May through early August - 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM  Hours subject to change due to weather Potential for seasonal employment April through November based on candidate availability Preferred  Past professional lawn care experience
